BumptiousQ

I grew up in Whitefish Bay, Wisconsin (well, not actually in the bay), and spent my youth as an unexceptional student who excelled at daydreaming and clowning around.  These days I do my spacing out and goofing around from my homebase in Asheville, NC, by way of Los Angeles then Raleigh.  I believe strongly in love, laughter and the pursuit of slaphappiness (as well as family, pets, gardening, outdoor adventures, travel and, of course, writing). 

I'm a loving, exasperating husband and the knucklehead father of two daughters.  I've been writing for many years, mainly at the insistence of my soul, and am currently working on a creepy sci-fi screenplay (I've optioned a few scripts in years past) and a comical, picaresque sci-fi adventure novel, 'The Madcap Travels of Bumptious Q. Bangwhistle,' aimed at kids ages 10 to 110.
